Meet our Doctors

DrGila

Gila C. Dorostkar, DDS
Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Gila graduated with honors from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1991. After first completing a  general practice residency at the VA Hospital in West Los Angeles, she  completed her pediatric specialty training at the Children's Hospital  Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her hospital-based training  emphasized clinical experience in the areas of pediatric dental trauma,  oral conscious sedation, and taking care of children using general anesthesia.

Dr. Gila has been in private practice in Marin since  1997 and is an active member of the dental community. She has served on  the Board of the Marin County Dental Society and has also served as a  Basic Life Support Instructor for its member dentists. Presently, she is a member of the College of Marin Dental Assistant Advisory Committee.

Dr. Gila currently serves as the President of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD), the largest state pediatric dental organization in the USA representing 900+ members and also advocating for the oral health of all children in California. Dr. Gila has held several different leadership positions in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as well as CSPD. She presently serves as the Parlimentarian on the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and was selected as a UCSF Championship Provider Fellow in their 2-year public health program.

In October of 2010, Dr. Gila was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists in  recognition of her leadership efforts in the field of dentistry, an  honor that is bestowed on only 3.5% of all practicing dentists in the United States. She also had the unique experience of being selected to attend the AAPD Leadership Institute program at the Kellogg School of Management and also the Wharton School's Aresty Institute of Executive Education. The leadership development curriculum and Dr. Gila's participation and collaboration with other AAPD leaders through the two programs has been a personal highlight of her professional career.

Dr. Gila is married and has a seventeen year-old son. In her free time, she enjoys walking Aspen and Oakley, event planning, flower arranging, traveling and golf.

Dr. Megan

Megan Golinveaux, DDS, MS
Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Megan Golinveaux was inspired by a close family friend and decided she wanted to be a dentist at the age of 6. After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Oregon she went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and then an advanced education in general dentistry from UCSF. She then continued her education and completed her advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at UCSF. She received both a certificate in pediatric dentistry as well as a Masters degree in oral and craniofacial sciences from UCSF during her 3 year residency.

 

Dr. Golinveaux has been a board certified pediatric dentist since 2007 and continues to be a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Golinveaux is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Marin County Dental Society.

Dr. Megan is known for her energy, humor, and patience. She strongly believes in building a trusting relationship with her patients and creating a fun, welcoming environment for both the patients and the parents. She is dedicated to nurturing a positive atmosphere during all dental visits and is experienced in handling all the dental needs for infants, children and adolescents.

Dr. Golinveaux and her husband, Dr. Jay, have two young boys who keep them very busy. In her spare time, you will find her outdoors with her family either running, biking, skiing, hiking or swimming.

DrEvan

Evan Chang, DDS
Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Originally from Palos Verdes Estates in Southern California, Dr. Chang completed his undergraduate education in Cognitive Psychology and Business Management at UC Irvine. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City, where he served as student body president and was highly involved with student government, curriculum development, and volunteering in the community. Dr. Chang was a recipient of the prestigious American College of Dentists Outstanding Leadership Award, reflecting his commitment as a leader in the dental profession.

Dr. Chang completed an intensive two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, where he received specialized training in comprehensive dental care for both healthy and medically-compromised children. He is passionate about providing quality care and oral health education to his patients and their families with a strong focus on prevention.

Outside of private practice, Dr. Chang is a clinical instructor as UCSF School of Dentistry, where he oversees and mentors dental students in the pediatric dentistry curriculum. In his free time, Dr. Chang enjoys exploring cities on foot with his wife, staying active through fitness and biking, attempting new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr. Sabina

Sabina Gupta Sud, DMD, MS
Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Originally from Diamond Bar, California, Dr. Gupta was raised in Augusta, Georgia. She completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology at the University of Georgia and graduated Suma Cum Laude with Highest Honors. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Gupta held numerous leadership roles that included serving on the admissions committee, working as the class social chair, and co-founding a service organization that raised funds for patients in financial need. Because of Dr. Gupta's active role in service while in dental school she was awarded the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy Award and inducted into the Alpha Upsilon Phi service fraternity. Dr. Gupta was also inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honors fraternity, for graduating at the highest service and academic level in her class.

Dr. Gupta went on to complete a two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received specialized training in treating young children and those with special needs. Additionally, Dr. Gupta obtained a Masters in Oral Sciences where her research focused on addressing dental health during infant well-child visits with pediatricians. Dr. Gupta is passionate about early childhood education and prevention-based dentistry. She strives to make each visit a positive experience to build a foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. 

In her free time, Dr. Gupta enjoys the mayhem that is family life with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys hiking the beautiful trails of Northern California, running to clear her mind, sipping a delicious cappuccino at a friendly cafe, tasting the local wine, and cheering on her favorite Georgia Dawgs. She appreciates every moment she spends with her friends, family and colleagues and makes it her personal motto to live her "best life" each day.

Dr. Jason

Jason Lim, DDS

Originally from Sacramento, California, Dr. Jason Lim completed his undergraduate education in Biology at UCLA. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco. Following dental school, Dr. Jason completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Jacobi Medical Center, an intense postgraduate program located in the Bronx, New York.

After a year on the East Coast, Dr. Jason moved back home to Sacramento and worked in both private practice and community health with children and adolescents. It was during that time, while providing care exclusively for children, that he discovered his true passion for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Jason furthered his education by completing a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the NYU Langone program in Tucson, Arizona. In addition to his time in our office, Dr. Jason serves as a pediatric specialist in an Asian Health Services community health clinic. He values the importance of fostering healthy habits at a young age through education and prevention. Dr. Jason strives to create a positive and personalized experience at the dental office that can be fun and enjoyable for all.

When Dr. Jason is not in the office, he can be found spending quality time with his wife and two young daughters. He enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and streaming movies and tv shows. He also loves cooking, his morning cup of coffee, and listening to oldies.

Dr. Francesca

Francesca Artiga, DDS
Diplomate of the Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Francesca Artiga was born and raised in San Francisco. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology at San Francisco State University, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During her time at UCSF, she served as class president, student body secretary, and student body president. Because of her commitment to service throughout her time there, she was awarded the Senior Professionalism and Ethics Award, the UCSF Osher Scholar for Community Service, and the American Dental Association Foundation Minority Scholarship.

After completion of dental school, Dr. Francesca worked alongside her father, as a general dentist in his San Francisco practice. She very quickly realized her passion for working with children and elected to pursue advanced training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Francesca completed her training at the University of California, Los Angeles through Rady Children’s Hospital. While there, she received extensive training in the treatment of medically compromised and special needs patients. Additionally, she was selected as chief resident of her program, and as the Warren Brandli Intern for the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Following residency, Dr. Artiga worked at La Clinica Dental at Children’s Hospital Oakland, where she treated medically compromised, special needs, and underserved patients throughout the Bay Area for over a decade. She served as the Associate Dental Director of the clinic for six years and oversaw the training of residents as an Assistant Clinical Professor for UCSF.

When Dr. Francesca is not practicing dentistry, you can usually find her cheering on her two sons, as they take the field on their baseball teams, or helping her “coach” husband, as the “team mom.” She enjoys volunteering at her children’s schools, traveling (and eating) her way around the world, working out, cheering on the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors, and loves all things Disney.
